App closes – entitlement check failed

When at startup of VR Tourviewer you get a message stating the ‘Application entitlement check failed’ and the app closes, it means that the application couldn’t check if it is allowed to run on the device. This is a check required by Oculus for apps that run on Oculus Go, Gear VR and Quest.

If you’re receiving this message, please try restarting your device. To restart your Oculus Go/Quest, hold the power button for 2-3 seconds. A dialog with 3 options will popup then. Choose ‘Restart’.
