How Can We Help?

3D Arrow hotspots

For VR Tourviewer 1.0.220 and later

You can show panorama hotspots as 3D arrows, similar to Google Streetview arrows.

You can set this globally in the VR Tourviewer Settings menu, with ‘3D arrows for node hotspots’, or you can override the global setting by adding one of the following User Data Tags in the first panorama of the Pano2VR Tour Browser. Note: the first panorama of the Tour Browser doesn’t have to be the start panorama.

hotspotarrows=1   (use 3D arrows for hotspots that point to another panorama)
hotspotarrows=0  (don’t use 3D arrows)

To keep the arrows horizontal or have them point up or down you can set this globally in the VR Tourviewer Settings menu, with ‘3D arrows always horizontal’, or you can override the global setting by adding one of the following User Data Tags in the first panorama of the Pano2VR Tour Browser. Note: the first panorama of the Tour Browser doesn’t have to be the start panorama.

hotspotarrowshor=1   (keeps arrows horizontal)
hotspotarrowshor=0   (arrows point towards original hotspot location)

You can override these settings and the global settings by adding one of the above tags to an individual panorama.

If you want to override using 3d arrows for a single hotspot, you can add ‘_no3darrow’ or ‘_3darrow’ to the hotspot ID (not the Skin-ID).
